A Guide To Action

1. UNICEF has been very involved in helping Zimbabwe, and has donated millions to help get school books to all the children in Zimbabwe. Donations can be made at

2. Global Giving in a UK organization that helps mothers learn business skills and keep their children in school. All profits go to children that have no families so they can attend school.

3.  There is a petition stating that President Mugabe has broken the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This petition is somewhat old, however the Right to Education is basically being broken in Zimbabwe, so the petition is still relevent.

4. Zimbabwe Benefit Foundation takes donations and such, but they are also trying to get people to organize fundraisers. They are trying to organize their own, where people will parachute, and if they raise enough money, get to parachute for free. This is an interesting fundraiser, although I’m not sure exactly how that will raise money for Zimbabwe. They also take volunteers, but I believe the foundation is located in Zimbabwe, so you would have to go there. Which would of course be most helpful anyway.

5.  Another group to donate money to, BABY GROW, provides needs for abandoned babies, orphans, and poor children. They pay school fees and help with medical costs.
